Held a constant temperature that was only 2 or 3 degrees off what the readout displayed. Then in the 7th month, I noticed the fan was laboring and the inside temp was getting higher. Been about a year now and it hasn't died on me yet but I don't think it has much time left. If you could get it for like $100, I would recommend it. But for what I paid, I don't plan on replacing it when it finally kicks and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else. There's just a noticeably loud whirring. Much louder than the whirring sounds emanating from the full-size refrigerators in the kitchen and the garage. Furthermore, the fan motor rarely cycles off. It's as if it struggles to maintain the 47 degrees we have it set to. We keep our home at 70 degrees, so it isn't like the cellar is operating in a high temperature environment where it would be more difficult to cool. In addition, the drip tray installation is a head-scratcher. It can only be slid halfway into its specified slot, with the other half sticking out the back.
