Lenstip's conclusion was that it outperformed the Heliopan and B+W products and as noted the Marumi unit costs much less. This is the second filter of this line of products that I've purchased, the other being a smaller 60-something mm.As I said in my other review, the only real complaint to be had about these is that since they are quite low profile, they can be a trick to unscrew if they've been put on tightly or if you're using step-up/step-down rings. Personally I only ever tighten the filter and/or rings down just enough to be secure and avoid the problem pretty well. Performance-wise they're amazing, especially if you've never seen how much glare gets cut with a quality polarizer or a nice pair of polarized sunglasses. |
