TRULY A "NO SWEARING" INSTALLATIONIt was delivered 25 Minutes ago, it's already on the Equinox (2011). It took longer to round up the tools than it did to install (needs; 19mm socket, ratchet, 3" and 6" extension, 3/8 drive easier for initial install, 1/2 drive for final torque wrench tightening.). On this vehicle, you just put it in place and bolt it into the threaded holes; did it with no other help. All mount holes perfectly aligned, no adjustments required. A perfect fit, absolutly no problems. NO HAMMERING, BEATING or CUSS WORDS. The best feature; uses 2" square ball mounts or other accessories (bike rack, etc, etc.). No need to look at any others, this is a very well made item and a great price. Deserves more than 5 stars. Be sure to use a torque wrench for final tightening. It was the least expensive,$15- $60 less than other sites.The hitch arrived in about four business days even though it was suppose to arrive in two days. Not really an issue except that it was not shipped as advertized. From the time I took it out of the box to the time I put my tools away it was about and hour. The Hitch fit perfectly and the quality seems excellent. Note that this would have been a 20 - 30 minute job if I had some help and if I had spread the support arms just a bit before attempting the mount. The supports were so tight to the frame that I litterally had to take a hammer and beat them in line with the factory threaded holes. This was a perfectly made hitch for my 2011 Equinox. I also used a small vehicle jack to lift and hold it in place and that proved to be just the aid I needed doing the install by myself. The construction quality seems top notch; good looking welds and a nice powder coat. The price is great too; about $60 cheaper than my local truck shop without labor. It's not complicated to install so long as you read up a little first. Also; add a torque wrench to your cart if you haven't bought this yet; you'll need it.I had a fairly straight forward install on a 2006 Saturn Vue, but my bumper frame seemed to be tweaked or just barely fit; but I managed. The instructions are overly simplified and for many vehicle makes, so use some imagination. Like removing the entire bumper fascia and don't skip the very important step of snagging the spacer/bolt plates through your bumper frame even if you see square cutouts for carriage bolts. The steel is too thin to prevent the head from twisting or pulling through. A second set of hands and a floor jack is helpful to support the hitch while you're trying to wrangle the side bolts in...
