I decided to go with a coiled hose because all of the reviews for standard hose reels were terrible, and the reels/storage boxes aren't exactly cheap. I had measured the distance from my outdoor spigot to the garden to be about 50 ft. and I had read another review saying the coiled hoses didn't stretch to their full listed length, so I went with the 75 ft. hose. I'm very glad I did because this barely makes it! If I could buy again, I'd probably even get the 100 ft. Go longer than you think you should, close to even double.
